Steel Grating Sample Service
A sample helps a buyer inspect construction, surface, finish and a specific fabricated detail before a larger order. Standard samples are normally prepared in about 3–7 days and the buyer pays the courier cost; custom sample timing is confirmed from the requested specification.

Standard sample or custom sample
A standard sample uses an available, representative grating construction and is the faster route for checking bearing bars, cross bars, weld appearance, serration or a finish sample. Preparation is normally about 3–7 days, subject to current availability.
A custom sample is made to a project-specific bar section, spacing, material, finish, cut-out or other detail. Its timing, feasibility and any cost treatment are confirmed per project before work begins; this page does not promise a fixed custom-sample lead time or free fabrication.
What a sample can and cannot verify
- Can show construction, bar profile, spacing, surface texture and visible finish
- Can help compare a custom edge, banding, cut-out or attachment detail
- Cannot prove full-panel load capacity without the project span, loads and calculation basis
- Cannot replace material certificates, coating reports, inspection records or approved drawings
- Cannot reproduce long-term site corrosion, cleaning or wear performance in a small piece
Courier and review planning
The buyer pays the courier cost. Provide a complete consignee name, delivery address, phone number and any courier account or import instructions. State what the sample must help you decide so the team can confirm whether a standard piece is sufficient or a custom detail is needed.
